What’s New About Blue-Weddings In Color

Wednesday, November 26th, 2008

A colorful ring jazzes up the occassion while a lacy blue cake adds a serene elgance.  Our own “Atlanta” bridal bouquet gives a frosty-cool look to a white or blue wedding. Little blue and white favor boxes help to complete a blue-white theme while our bejeweled centerpiece in a jewel-wrapped container lends a big “wow” to the decor.  And of course, the much talked-about Maggie Sottero blue wedding dress.

Bouquet Styles 3-The Updated Cascade

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

The Cascading bouquet features flowers, ribbon or greenery hanging from a central bouquet.  Earlier versions were large, heavy and structured. Today’s cascading bouquets are less formal arrangements and can be done in many styles.  Above are two versions of our own cascades.  Our “Martinique” bouquet with jeweled calla lilies and our “Vintage” bouquet created by binding the stems of the hanging roses and allowing the flowers to cascade freely.

Bouquet Styles 2-The Hand-tied

Monday, November 24th, 2008

The hand-tied bouquet is not just a bunch of flowers tied together.  This type of bouquet is created by holding a group of flowers in one hand and turning slightly as additional outside flowers are added in layers.  The result is a less structured design than those using a bouquet holder.  The final product can be a neat, exact design shown here with our ”Tarra” bouquet or a slightly looser arrangement.  When a hand-tied bouquet is complete the stems fan out into a stand-alone pyramid.  We force our hand-tieds into decorated bouquet holders for extra drama.
